Chop a cabbage or cut paper-thin slices of a tomato in a matter of seconds: the Chinese chef's knife is made for exactly such cases. Made from a single piece of WÜSTHOF steel, it offers precision and a lot of power in the hand. The large blade is also ideal for transporting cut ingredients into the pot on the blade. The delicately ground cutting edge ensures high sharpness. However, it should not be used for bones or very hard fruits (e.g. coconuts). For such cases, we recommend a European cleaver or a chopping knife.
